What League.fun is
League.fun is fantasy sports for crypto. It runs on Base.
You build a team of 5 coins and pick one as your captain. You then compete against other players in a league with a fixed end time. The top players share the prize pool, and a smart contract settles the payout.
There is no leverage and no liquidation. Your entry fee sets your risk before the league starts — you can never lose more than the entry fee.
The three ideas behind it
- Accessible. No leverage, no liquidation. The most you can ever lose is your entry fee.
- Gamified. Captains, head-to-head matches, streaks, and leaderboards turn price movement into a game you play with friends.
- On-chain. Smart contracts on Base settle entry fees and prize pools in USDC. League.fun never holds your funds.
How a league works, in short
- Sign in. Select "Play now" and sign in with an email address, a wallet, or Twitter, through Privy. League.fun creates an embedded wallet for you and pays your gas fees.
- Join a league. Pick a public league from the current wave, or join a private league with a friend's invite code.
- Build your team. Inside the entry window, pick 5 coins from the league's coin pool and choose your captain.
- Compete. Your team scores from real price movement, and you face another player head-to-head every round.
- Claim. When the league ends, see your rank and your prize, and claim it on-chain.
