The split

When a paid league ends, the top 30% of teams share 95% of the entry fees. League.fun keeps a 5% protocol fee — see Fees for where that fee goes.

The payout curve

Prize money inside the top 30% is not split evenly. Payouts follow a curve that rewards higher ranks more: rank 1 earns a substantially larger share than rank 2, and so on down the list. Every winner is still guaranteed to get at least their entry fee back.

Claiming

When your league ends, you see your rank and your prize in the app. Claiming pays out on-chain, directly from the smart contract that held the prize pool — see On-chain and the Gateway.

One claim pays you everything the contract owes you, across every league you've played, not one league at a time. To enter another league, you make a new join with a new payment; there's no separate "reinvest" step.
